Quite the Productive Day thus far....

First, I just want to say that we need to be praying for the families of the students/ teachers who were shot and killed in Virginia.  It is a horrible thing that has happened there and I have no words for that situation other than we need to be on our knees.  I would love to think that my family is safe out here all to ourselves but that would be wishful thinking.  Only God is our protector.  I am really feeling a need to lift up the parents of the gunman.  I can not even imagine the feeling they must be experiencing knowing that they raised such a person.  If they do not know Jesus, I hope they are introduced to Him soon.

As for the day, it has been kind of slow and lazy but somehow productive.  I have several loads of laundry on the line and in the wash.  We put our little chicks out in the outside brooder and they are happily running about their yard.  This was no small job.  The chicks are a lot of trouble  but I enjoy watching them sooo much.  I made whole wheat pancakes for breakfast and soup for lunch.  We will be having Tamale Pie for dinner.  It is one of DH favorites.  We have gotten a good bit of school done.  Lord willing, I will get the house straightened before DH gets home and it will be the end of a good day.
