Seeds sprouting and a great field trip

I just sowed my seeds on Sunday and the cucumbers are already sprouting. I hope the tomatoes are not far behind. I am so excited. I had no idea that it would happen this soon.
Today, we are going with 3 other likeminded, homeschool families up to Little Mountain for a picnic and hiking. It will be so much fun if this overcast sky would clear. It will still be fun if it doesn't. Little Mountain is the last mountain in the chain of Appalachian Mountains. It is about 45 min. away from our house. There is a natural spring and plenty of hiking trails. I intend on getting a good work out. I hope to take lots of pictures and share them later.
Blessings,
Trixi

Are these in the ground or in a starter box? I so behind and getting more and more. I really need to get my green house boxes started. Was going to do it the other day, but it got pushed away.
Maybe today.
Blessings,
Debi

First about your planting, and seeds sprouting and then second....I want to know about your field trip to the mountain.
I also wanted to tell you that I finally went to Ada's !!! I loved it. It ended up only being about an hour drive from me, maybe a little bit more but not much.
I will be going back!!!

“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
