What a day...What a day...some spring cleaning has sprung...

Well, I have to say that today felt more like summer than spring but nevertheless, we have been busy.  Not inside mind you.LOL  The day started with horse woes as our mare Ginger decided to be mean to our other mare Paco.  She had her pinned in a stall and Paco ended up kicking through two boards and ended up half way in another stall.  Such is life with horses.  She had minor cuts in 4 different places.  We ran water on them and put the iodine spray on and she is good as new.  Then we had to do some temporary barn repairs, as DH is out of town for the weekend.  We will be really fixing it on Monday. 

Then we moved on to finishing up some storage we have been making at the back of the barn.  I then emptied out all the junk in my screened in porch to the new storage area.  I cleaned out the screened in porch and it looks great!!!  We also did some garden work and I put a small fencing around the strawberry patch.  I washed 4 loads of laundry and hung them out to dry.  I hope to do some small things tomorrow like switching over winter clothes to summer.  I don't like to do a hole lot on the Lord's day.

It was a full day.  We will be going to bed early and I can bet you we will sleep good.

Sounds like you had a full day.... with the mishap with the horse and all! I too have to switch over seasons of clothing..... a huge job to be done with 10 kids but none the less has to be done...... I think I'll tackle it this week..... Hope you have a restful sabbath!
