Gardening plans thus far....

We are still waiting on seeds to come.  I had hoped they would be here in time to have them germinating.  I guess that was false hope.  We got the strawberry plants last week but the seeds have still not come.  Anyway, we have been putting the composted manure in the garden spot and I have added some more soil.  We will be tilling and rowing it up on Monday.  Dh will be off and home on Monday.  Lord willing, we will get all of the tilling and rowing done then.  I need to get some round up out there and some pre-emergent, so that in about 3 weeks we can put our seeds in the ground.  It is so warm now that you would think we could go ahead but the earlier we have done it we have had the same result.  Seeds do not start to germinate until the ground is good and warm.  If we put it in now the plants will grow slowly until the ground warms up.  If we wait they will take off.  This has been a trial and error thing.

I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I have been having computer troubles since last week and I am still working on a few things.

I can't wait until we can put our little seedlings in the ground. Mothers Day is our day for planting we our to fearful of frost. We also want to till our garden spots too.
