Update on my Aunt....

My stepmother called today to give me the update on my aunt who is dying.... Hospice has been called in and they say it will be about 2 wks. I am so glad that I went to see her on Monday when she was still somewhat coherent and knew that I was there. I spent some time with this aunt every summer when I was little and it is just so hard to see these family members getting older and dying. It makes it even more important for us to be a light and witnessing to these family members about Jesus Christ. I want all of my family to be in Heaven with me.
My dad is taking it so hard. This will be the first of his siblings to die and it has really made his mortality real for him. Thank you for praying and if you don't mind continue.

This may sound harsh, but I pray that the Father is now in her heart and that he calls her home quickly.

This is a part of life but not one of the easy parts of life.
I know what you mean about being a light to your family. My husband and I are the only saved ones in his family and at times it can be hard, but we must carry on as we should.
I will be praying for you and your family.
