Did you know that January is National Oatmeal Month? More oatmeal is sold in January than in other months. Maybe that is because nothing shakes off a cold morning better than a warming bowl of oatmeal with your favorite toppings.
So to honor an ingredient that should be in a good cook's pantry, let's talk a bit about Oatmeal. Be sure to post your answers on your blog, and leave a comment with the link so we can come see your answers!
1. Do you like your oatmeal thick and chunky or like yours to resemble a porridge? I like mine in between, not too thick but not soupy either.
2. Do you make yours with milk or water? Another ingredient? I like it either way but I usually cook it with water.
3. List your favorite ways to dish up your oatmeal. We eat it granola, cereal, and just plain oatmeal. I usually make it with honey, and cinammon. If I have some raisins, I throw them in for good measure.LOL
