10 ways to save money.....

I saw this over at Andrea's site, it came from Blue Apple Farm.  It looks like a lot of fun and very convicting.

I have to say before I try to list, that I am convicted more that God would have us be debt free and also be good stewards of our money.... I would love to implement being a good steward this new year.  We have studied debt and tried to be debt free for a while but now I would love to be a better steward with what God has so generously provides us.

1. I am terrible about going back and forth to the grocery store...  I want to do better about meal planning and budgeting my grocery buying.
2. Turn off lights
3. Be more organized about laundry.
4. Run the dishwasher only when full
5. Use more homemade breads, sauces, and detergents
6. Get away from paper towels and plates.  Start using cloth napkins and real plates.  I love the convenience.
7. Combine all errands, so that I am not going back and forth to town.
8. Be more mindful to the feeding of animals.  I have a feeling we probably have alot of waste here.

I only have 8 right now, but it is a good start.

I absolutely love using styrofoam dishes, but I do feel a tad bit quilty about it. I guess I had better work on that one too.
The thing is, we have 13 people in the house!
