Possibly getting a Horse!!!!

We are going Friday to look at a horse.  My husband and I are not horse people but our children, especially our oldest DD, are in love with them.  We are going to be looking at a bay quarter horse mare.  They say she is wonderful with children.  We will see.....   We have a good friend who is going with us.  Lord willing, everything will work out.  Our children are so excited and we keep trying to tell them this may not be the one for us.  We have been getting our stall ready.  The rain made it a muddy mess.  Hopefully, it will be dry by Thursday and we can put the shavings down.  This was going to be our baby calf stall but we will have to get another one ready for that.  Its so much fun!!!!  I guess I have to put my chickens on hold with all of this going on....

Are any of you setting out flower bulbs yet?  What are you putting out?

Yea! How exciting, you've descibed my family, my dh and I aren't horse people, but our daughter is, and she really would like a horse...Let us know how it turns out.

Wow, how exciting! We have a horse girl here in our home but we do not have a horse yet. She is in a hippology club at 4-H and is currently learning everything she can about horses.
