Rainy Yucky Day!!

Well, here in Mississipp it is a rainy yucky day.  It has come in from Texas.  I'm sure we need it or otherwise God would not be sending it but it does make it hard to rejoice in it when you have had so much lately.  Anyway, that's when you go back to ... And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:28  I need to committ this one to memory this week and especially this season when my yard looks like a lake and I feel like I am in Noah's ark.  LOL.  This summer I will be praying for rain.LOL.

On the plus side of a dreary day, I have a crock pot full of vegetable beef stew going.  There is nothing better on a cold rainy day.  I will also make some mayonaise biscuits.  Dessert will probably consist of chocolate chip cookies.  Yum!!!

Your dinner sounds yummy! The perfect thing for a rainy day :) We could actually use a little rain here in northern CA. Congratualtions on the new homestead!
