A GREAT START TO A GREAT WEEK :)

Well we started out our school day a little later than usual. We slept in a little this morning. We had a long busy weekend and just needed the rest. I made omelets and turkey bacon and then we were off to a great start. We finished school around lunch time. I had mounds of laundry to do and managed to get it all done. I just finished folding the last load. Its a great feeling to have laundry behind you. Ofcourse, it will begin to pile up again tomorrow, but tonight I feel great with the laundry all done. We had homemade pizza tonight and brownies for dessert. The pizza was a last minute thing. I love reading everyone's menus. I get so inspired to do one but then I dont stick to it. For some reason, a lot of times I'll say we are having one thing, and my sweet DH wants to do something else. So I have always just gone with the flow on the menu.
I have been getting tons of seed catalogs and am just dreaming of our garden. We have grown one at my inlaws for years but this will be our first at our home. We are so excited. My father in law has always grown from plants. I would like to learn about starting my own seeds. He just says he has never had a lot of luck with seeds. Does anyone have any suggestions? Well, I hope everyone has a great night and an even better day tomorrow.

I would like to learn to start from my own seeds too, but need to work on my garden skills first. I do know that seeds need to be kept in a cool dark place (I think you can put them in a jar in your fridge).

About Me
First and foremost I am a redeemed by grace follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, my saviour. I am also the wife of my wonderful DH of 17 1/2 years and the mother to my 3 DC, ages 16, 13, and 10, who we homeschool. This is where I will chronicle our daily adventures and my walk with the Lord.

“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
