And so life goes on....

| This is the day that the Lord has made. |
I have been so incredibly busy lately. I just don't like being so busy. I have been selling some school books on ebay. I have just been storing these books in tub after tub. Now they all sit in the middle of my living room, waiting to sell and then be mailed. However, it is going fairly well and I will probably be able to buy our new books with the money. That will be nice not to have all of that out of pocket expense.
Anyway, I have added this song...I can only imagine by Mercy Me. I love this song. It is so sobering. I can not imagine the glory there will be when I am face to face with my Lord and Saviour. I can just think that it will be beyond anything I could ever imagine. It gives me chills to even think of it.....
Yesterday, I put up 4 more jars of strawberry fig preserves, 3 pints of tomatoes, and 2 quarts of okra. Incase anyone is wondering the garden has been a ton of work but such a huge blessing. I can't wait to be eating fresh garden peas in January. God is so incredibly good!! My freezer is bursting. My pantry is full and I am so thankful.
On the agenda for today....
Reading my Bible
Push mowing the grass around the goat pen and garden
tidying up the house
Finishing laundry left from yesterday
Sweeping off all the porches
Loving and playing with my children
Dinner tonight....
Hamburgers on the grill
Oven ranch potatoes
Baked beans
Watermelon for dessert
I hope you all have a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Trixi

Strawberry fig preserves sounds wonderful! I also love that song. My favorite line is "Will I dance with you Jesus......or in awe of you be still?"
Have a great day.

I just found your blog and really enjoy what little I have seen tonight. I agree with you. God is so amazingly good. My freezer is full, and my pantry is bursting.
And, also like you, I pray the Lord gives us more children. Ours are 16 and 14, and we've battled secondary infertility since then. WE are seeking the Lord about adoption.
Anyhow, blessings on your day.

“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
