This is the day that the Lord has made.

On Saturday, we traveled to Jackson for a parade honoring my husband and all the 3500 men from Mississippi who went to Iraq last year.  It was heart wrenching.  There was a memorial to the 28 men who gave their lives.  The whole service was good for us.  It really made you feel in some way what we went through last year was worth it.  My husband has always felt like it was worth it.  I have had many days of doubt.  However, I am very proud of him and all of those men who gave up so much.  Here is the article from the paper...
