We went into town to see the Dr. today.....

This is the day that the Lord has made.

My oldest daughter broke her left arm 2 1/2 years ago.  She fell off a horse and had a compound fracture.  She came home with screws and plates holding her bones together.   We have had very little trouble with it since.   Monday she was out playing baseball with all of us and said something popped.  It has hurt all week.  So this morning I broke down and took her in to see the Dr.  She immediately referred us back over to the Orthopedic surgeon and we have an appt. on Monday.  She said she may have loosened or even popped out a screw and they may have to be taken out.  Thankfully we still have really good Army insurance but I sooo hate to see my girl have to go under the knife again.  It was a long grueling recovery the first time. 

As for our day, I just pulled a load of clothes in off the line.  I will be folding clothes and straightening the house for DH to come home shortly.  We will be having country style ribs, black eyed peas, fresh garden squash, and fresh peach cobbler for dinner.

I hope everything turns out okay with that plate. I'll have to warn my brother-in-law about that one. He's got one in his hand from a tobogganing accident. Maybe it's good he's turned into a citified winter hibernator!

So sorry to hear about your daughter's arm. Poor thing. It seems like a long wait til Monday, I know. Keep us updated on her.
