The bounty of our harvest and other interesting tidbits......

This is the day that the Lord has made.

Good morning, all!!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day.  My DH works full time for the Army through the National Guard, so needless to say he had the day off and we had a wonderful weekend.  We worked on the new goats pen all day Saturday.  He is now in there and likes it so much more.  He isn't crying all the time.  We let him roam when we can be out there with him.  My DH would not be a happy camper if he got in the garden.  We are just having the best time with this goat. 

We have some family in from Texas, so after church on Sunday we all went up to the Buffalo Park in Tupelo.  It's like a zoo/ petting zoo.  So it has Bears and Lions but also horses and goats.  They also have 1 of only 2 white buffalos in the US.  It was very pretty. 

Then yesterday, we worked in the garden and then went to some friends to barbque last night.  It was fun.  They have an inground pool so the kids had a blast.

The most exciting news is slowly my garden is coming in.....

We have gotten about 6 squash but my youngest DD likes to cut them up and eat them with ranch dressing.  We have also gotten some jalepeno peppers and banana peppers.  We took them to our friends last night.  I have tons of blooms and a few almost ready zuchinni.  The cherry tomatoes are loaded and there are a few other tomatoes.  They just are taking their sweet time on turning red.  Its so exciting.  We love the garden.  God has so many lessons out there.
