What was your first job? 

My first job would have been babysitting for other people at about age 13.

Soup

Name some of the things you collect. 

Roosters, antique anything but especially glass ware, milk bottles,etc.  Crosses

Salad

Name a recent fad that you just don't 'get'. 

I don't get all of the tatoos you see everywhere.  I realize this isn't recent but it is progressively more and more.  I have just never seen anything that I would want on my body for the rest of my life. 

Main Course

Describe the worst weather situation you have ever been in. 

I am not quite sure, we had a terrible tornado situation that came through about 5 years ago and I was in Birmingham and it took about 5 hours for me to get back home to make sure my family was ok.

Dessert

Which shoe do you put on first?

Your potential new homestead near your in-laws sounds exciting! If my dh were of a construction mindset, that's the sort of project I'd love to tackle.
