Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!!!

Well, I posted a few weeks ago that this place that we love so much, we will have to leave next year.  The man who we rent from has decided to retire early and come to live out here next year.  We had been hoping the whole time that he would eventually just sell it to us.  Well, God has another plan.  We looked at a house on Wed.  It is on 7 acres of land.  It is about 100 years old and right I mean right next door to my DH parents.  Which for us would be a good thing.  My DH has great parents.  They no when to stay out of our business.  I love the style of the house.  It's one of those white farm house types.  Now the drawbacks,  when Hurrican Katrina came through last year the roof around the chimney leaked and because the house is not lived in it went unnoticed for quite a while.  The whole living room ceiling has to be torn out.  The front porch has to be redone and a new roof has to be put on.  Cosmetically it has to be completely repainted and the bathroom has to have some sheet rock work done.  One good thing is my husband is a liscensed contractor.  He can do all of the work even the roof.  It just will take probably years to get it all done.  The house has 2 fireplaces with beautiful antique chimneys.  It also has 2 bedrooms downstairs and a room upstairs that is the whole lenght of the house.  It is huge.  This is where I would put my girls.  Eventually, we would probably put up a wall and make 2 bedrooms.  Then there is a room right off the carport coming into the house.  This is where one of the fireplaces is.  I would set up my sewing machine here and use it as a school room.  I have never had a school room.  It would be nice to have a place to put my sewing machine and be able to leave it out.  Another draw back is the house is also within 3 miles of my sisters house.  She has 3 boys about the same age as my son.  They are very much in the World and live a totally different lifestyle than we do.  I love my family but a little bit of distance has been a good thing for us.  Anyway, these are all just plans and as of yet we dont know that God is directing it.  We are going to take lots of time to pray.  If it is in His will it will be done.
