Today's happenings.....

Well, I have a touch of the sniffles today.  I have no idea, as to what could have brought this on, other than it has been kind of breezy at night and we have been running the box fan.  It feels so good though with that breeze coming in.  We have a friend of ours 2 children today.  She had to go to Tuscaloosa to the doctor and I offered to watch them.  They all have a play house set up out in the barn.  It is amazing to me that 11 year old girls can still be playing house with their baby dolls and the whole nine yards.  I wish I had been playing with dolls at their age.  I think I was already flirting with boys by then.  God is so merciful to forgive and to even redeem. 

The boys are up on the hill looking for blackberries.  My youngest DS found some ripe ones down by the fence line, so now they are on the hunt for more.  Needless to say we are taking the school day off.  I just hope I can get some chores accomplished.  I plan on washing my sheets and hanging them out.  I would also like to scrub my bathroom and mop some floors.  I made bread yesterday so Lord willing it will last the day.  If not I will need to put on a couple more loaves.  I love fresh bread.  I would also like to get my desk reorganized.  We will see how it goes.  I like to stay in ear shot when we have company.  Just so I can make sure everything is pure and right. Phil. 4:8  These are good kids who are here today, so I wont be on top of them the whole day, just periodically.
