The days events

Well, today is a full day.  We started getting the yard all cut and looking good late yesterday afternoon.  It got interupted by our next door neighbor's excitement.  We live next door to a 50 acre horse trainer.  One of the thoroughbreds jumped the electric fence he was in and then proceeded to jump the barbed wire fence seperating our two tracks of land.  His front and back legs were badly cut.  My husband was on the tiller in the garden and he stopped everything to go and halter the horse and get him back in a stall next door.  It was terrible.  I hate seeing injuries like that. He couldn't be sewn up because where it was it would just pull open when he walks.  It will leave a terrible scar.  Anyway, so I will be finishing up cutting grass today.  I am going to put on a roast and potatoes to cook all day.  I am also going to town at some point today.  Then tonight my son has a baseball game.  I could do without all this baseball stuff but he sure does love it.....
