Is it any wonder WHY a family would move from here?

This is the very county we left - though persuing our homestead dream and clearly there's little to no homesteading in Gwinnett.  And yet, certain family members just don't get that.........oh yeah, they still live there.  No wonder.

Ostriches.

Yeah, we have family that thinks we are crazy to desire country living. Oh, pardon me, more than an acre or two. What on earth would we do with more land than that??? *sigh*

It's so difficult to talk to them.....

I wonder if all those folks killed in the AJC article had legal residency in our fine country. Just a thought. Sorry, someone has to be the closeminded killjoy and I fill that role with pride and pleasure.......

PS: Lots of our city friends are already emailing with requests to spend the day in the country with us this summer....I'm thinking about opening a B&B on the property, seriously.
