Thank you, Mrs. French (solodeogloria), for inspiring me with your "Ode to the Air Conditioner." ;) I decided to compose my own ... "Ode to the Tarp": Above all other textiles, The tarp stands aloof. Its hundreds of uses verify this As virtually convincing proof. Use it for covering hay bales, Use it for hauling leaves. When an unexpected disaster strikes, It’s comforting having one of these up your sleeves. So durable and sturdy, The tarp’s a top-notch sheet, Always ready to facilitate Any project you might meet. It’s even useful for summer – Use it for a water slide. This multi-purpose tool. Is the inventor’s pride. Of the tarp’s excessive virtues, I could go on and on. But just a word of warning – It kills the grass if left on your lawn!
