We had a busy but wonderful weekend. We left Saturday morning to go to Abilene, about a three hour drive. I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, so it was great to go back, but it sure has changed a lot. Or maybe I just don't remember, lol. It has been a while. We went to my cousin's son's wedding. It was very nice, just wonderful to see family you don't see very often. Then Sunday before we came back we visited the Abilene Zoo. It's a very small zoo, but fun because you can actually feed the animals. Then we went to Frontier Texas. It is an awesome historical museum! I can't say enough wonderful things about it. The kids loved it - until the very end when we saw a little video. There was a very frightening scene where an Indian in war paint pops into the window of a cabin where a woman and young girl were alone. It scared Luke to death. He couldn't sleep last night for thinking of it and cried for quite a while. Other than that one part, it was really great. Hopefully he'll be okay tonight!
