Shopping, shopping, and more shopping!

Posted in A Day in My Life

We have been busy the past couple of days getting new Spring and Easter clothes for the kids.  Luke is a joy to shop with now - he is really enjoying buying clothes.  A few years ago he liked absolutely nothing!  Now he can hardly wait for Sunday so he can wear his new clothes!  Shera enjoys shopping, too, and found some really cute things.  For Hannah, however, shopping is right up there with having a tooth pulled, lol.  We finally found her some things tonight - and I spent more on her than the other two!  The funny thing is the weather - now that it's actually Spring it feels more like Winter!  And tomorrow morning is the first day of homeschool softball for Shera, and t-ball for Luke; Hannah chose not to participate this year.  It's supposed to be 33 degrees in the morning - not looking forward to being out watching them play.    For some reason it always turns colder when homeschool softball starts!

Stay warm this weekend!

Blessings,

Carol

Friday, April 6, 2007 - Homeschool Softball

Posted by Chas

I was just telling Dh that I wish there was enough homeschoolers around here to have a hs softball team. We play with just a rec league, and I tell you I am getting more and more frustrated with it. So many practices, so many tournaments... I want to say... Where is the time when they should be with family?? We are losing it to being at the ballfield everyday! Sorry for the rant! :S
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have a beautiful Easter!
HE IS RISEN!
Blessings,
Chas

Thank you for the welcome. You and I share the same dream. We found a house a few months ago and went to see it. The virtual tour gave us a pretty good idea of what the house looked like. It is and old homestead property with only an acre left. Wow what a house!!!! I felt at home immediately. We of course are in no position to buy a home but know it will be there if the Lord provides. I am so excited for you and your family.
