Well yesterday was a busy day but not an awful lot got achieved! I had a friend over who has recently lost her Mother and is really struggling with grief and depression - she stayed for coffee and a chat but didnt want to stop for lunch and a dog walk (which I though would do her good - my answer to most things is to get outside for a good walk ...well OBVIOUSLY reading God's word and praying aside, mind you!). In the afternoon I cut the grass and that was hot sweltering work - and walked the dog. It was a glorious day and spring has definitely sprung here! The runner beans, brown dutch beans and courgettes are finally growing in the green house and everywhere the birds are singing! Dinner was a cobbled together affair of stir fried veg, rice and quorn with chocolate banana custard for pudding. A view from my dog walk:
