Fall, Wounded Warrior project and the tree

Hi again,

Well, I thought it is time for an update. Not to much going on at the farm right now. The pumpkins we planted are growing and we are finally getting rain consistently. The kids are excited about halloween and all the approaching holidays and the weather is finally getting a little cooler (YEAH!)

The tree limb got removed from our roof ($900.00) and the hole got repaired by a roofing company. So I had to put in a claim with my insurance, which I really didn't want to do. Oh well got to do what we got to do right?

The biggest thing in our life right now is the Wounded Warrior Project. Our local Radio station decided they wanted to do a Charity walk for this project. walking 80 miles in three days through three cities. This organization helps our severly wounded soldiers recover and try to get back to their lives. Basically they pick up were the military leaves off. It is an awsome organization, check it out and help our soldiers they need our help.

We decided to help our radio station with this and have been selling T-shirts. The kids have been so excited about being able to help and make a difference. I am very proud of them. The community raised $37600.00 with this walk and the whole experience has shown me again how wonderful and caring the people in this community are. We are truly blessed to be here.

I rode Prizz again to. She did great so I guess she has settled down and got used  to us but it will still be a while before I will trust her with Pat.

Well that's it for now. Hope you all are well.
