Cabin Update
Here's a short pictorial update on the little cabin that Andrew is building on the other side of the creek from us. He's pretty much putting up the walls by himself now. He enlists in our help to carry logs over or do other small jobs occasionally. The logs are aspen. We cut them from our land last winter and had the mule and pony drag them out of the woods before we peeled them. They're fitting nice and tightly now and I just love how it's looking so far!
Andrew tarps over the sections he's not working on.

A corner.

A view from the outside with a window hole.

Outside from behind.

The big builder brother.

Also, Andrew updated our production website yesterday. Check the blog to see where updates have been added.
Sheppard Boy
I Was Thinking About this today if God Could Turn a Sheppard Boy into a Warior and Then soon after that a
King cant He use Us? I was also thinking that We need to pray for our Country God punished all Isreal some times when only some of them did wrong and us as a Country need to pray that God will forgive our county! We need to as it says in Ephesians 6-21 Finaly my brothren, be strong in the Lord and in the Power of his might put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand the wiles of evil. These are just some thoughts that I was having and wanted to share with you! I Hope you will read this and be blessed!

~Middle Of The Week Though's~

Well here we are another day, We had two huge thunderstorms in the last 12 hour's and I think there is another on the way yet tonight, Last night's was really scary the thunder so loud and the wind and rain was comeing down fast, The one we had this morning was not as bad but we got ALOT of rain, So we will just have too wate and see what comes along the way later tonight.
Jarreds takeing a nap and Jack is crawling around here in the liveing room being silly, He deffently is alot brighter today compared to yesterday after his needles, Right now he is dancing becuse of the t.v.....They have seem to be doing good with the storms, They dont seem too scare them too much, Last night they slept right threw everything, But at the same time that is good, I dont really want them too be scared, Even though at my age I still jump every now and then when the thunder hit's.
I found some great frezzer recipes the other day for too do some peaches, pickeles and pasta sause that you can make and frezze, Deffently going too try them out that's for sure for the winter month's and what's nice they look really easy too do and for some one like me that has never been tought how too do them, I'm preatty excited too give them a try!!! This way I can keep some fresh stuff on hand, Oh yeah and I think I will do some corn up too as soon as it go's on sale.
I guess lately I have been trying too find myself make a more modest and simple life for the family and a healthy one too, I never grew up in a house like that, So I would really like too show my boy's a life like that, I want them too know that mommy really dose love and care for them always!!
Well that's my little message for the day

But we alway's Joke becuse Jarred was feed pre-made baby food that's why he has been so small and Jack ate all home made baby food and he is a big boy.....So go's too show you home-made baby food is really good too make for them. But they are doing good, Jack had a accdent though he fell of the exam table and we were all there it was one of those moments were everything just happioned so fast and boy did he cry. But he is ok just a small bump on the head, He got his needles too so he wasnt happy about that eather, I dont blame him...Im 25 and still hate needles, He wount have too go back till he is about 15 month's for some new shot they have.....But here in Canada the needles are free so it's not too bad, I finally just got Jack too bed about half an hour ago he was abit gasy but I think he is good now.

Laissez les bons temps rouler
Our next stop after visiting our dear friends in Sweet Home Alabama was Louisiana, where we “Laisser les bons temps rouler” (Less lay bohn tohn roo lay) that’s Cajun for “Let the good times roll!”. And the good times did roll. When we left Alabama on Sunday afternoon around noon after spending the morning spending more time with the Lirette’s and pack up the van. A great deal of time and effort went into sweeping out all the food that the Littles had managed to spew all over the entire van. We had tears of sorrow and tears of joy, we left the Lirette’s and made our way to Louisiana near Baton Rouge. We were going to stay with my dad’s aunt, uncle, and Grandfather. I’d only met Grandpa Hill and Aunt Barbara once when I was six-months-old so it was kinda like we were meeting them for the first time.
It took us forever to get there, and one of the reason being because the Highway Department had eight guys out at 9 o’clock at night sticking reflectors on the road while traffic was stopped up for an hour. It wouldn’t have been so bad if they had moved the “lane closed” sign up about 10 miles so everyone knew that’s not where you had to drive at 20 miles an hour in a single lane. We were only forty-five minutes away but it took us over an hour to get past the “road construction”. Oh, we were so mad when we saw the hooligans with the stickers.
At about 10-11pm we arrived at Aunt Barbara’s. We were all so happy to get to of the van and even more so knowing we’d be there for a few days. Aunt Barbara was so sweet and kind to us when we all got there. She welcomed us with a cheery smile and open arms. She accommodated us in any possible way and let us cook for her (and when then rest of the family that came over). I was so happy we could do that for her. She takes care of Uncle Leo and Grandpa Hill while working a 8hr job so it was nice for her to get a break.
We had a nice time having fellowship and “meeting” our extended family. My dad was happy to see his Grandpa Hill again after nearly 17 years. Grandpa is in his eighties, and I’m glad we got to see him again before he passed on. He’s still mobile and likes to sit out on the porch, reading the newspaper or enjoying nature. While we were there Eric and the other Littles sat out with him, which I think he enjoyed a lot.
My Uncle Leo is quite a character. He likes to tease people and make conversation… haha that went well with me. He kept calling me Curly Sue since I had curly hair and he couldn’t remember my name. It was interesting being around him. He also couldn’t believe I was 17. I wasn’t surprised. No body ever believes me when I tell them I’m 17. They always assume I’m either 12-13, and Rachel is an inch or two taller than me so that doesn’t help. I decided to start telling people I’m 22 when they ask that way when I say “naw, I’m kidding. I’m 17″ so it won’t be that big of a shock when I tell them my real age. hehe
Uncle Leo asked all of us girls if we had a boyfriend. When we told him “no” he looked at us oddly and said, “well why not?” My reply was simple, “I only need one and I don’t need him right now.” He was baffled and just couldn’t understand it. I hope we were able to be a witness to him in more ways than one.
Uncle Leo took pleasure in showing us all the different canes he made out of trees from the backyard. Some of them were quite interesting. He gave Eric, Hannah, and Isaac each their own cane to fit their size, and they’ve been having fun with them ever since.
We were all sad when we had to leave. We said goodbye to Aunt Barbara early on Tuesday morning before she had to go to work. She is such a sweet person. She was always smiling or making someone else smile. She loved having our big family there and was just so kind. She is definitely one relative I wouldn’t mind seeing again soon. Uncle Leo was sad when we’re getting all of our stuff into the van. He wanted us to stay a few more days. Takes a few days to get used to him and we had to leave right when we did! Haha, he was such a curious character, and I’m glad we got to meet them all and spend some time with them.
Blessings!
