Valentine's and drama

Sorry I have not blogged in a while. I had some other stuff I wanted to do. This past weekend my brothers, my mom and I went to South Carolina to spend Valentine’s day with some friends. Before we went I helped Adam (my youngest brother) make Valentines for the family we were visiting.

While we were in South Carolina we made cupcakes for our dads. My mom baked them and she let the kids decorate them. We enjoyed a few cupcakes. We had a lot of fun down there. My brothers and I played with their kid. My mom spent time with her friend. And I got to take care of their little one who is now standing up, but with some help. Today is my little cousin Candice's birthday - she will now turn 3 years old.

I joined the drama team at church a couple of months ago. I was basically in choir but my mom, who directs the team, needed somebody else in this skit we were doing. We performed it twice - once for Extreme Worship where all the surrounding youth came to our church. We also performed it on Scout Sunday because the older people didn't get to see it and to show the scouts that they could change peoples’ lives too. We did the Life House Everything skit. In it Jesus makes this girl and Jesus shows her what wonderful creations his father made. Then the sins come and destroyed her life. Here are the sins in order of appearance.

Lust, Greed (money), Drunk, Vanity, and last but not least, Despair (who was me). I have posted the video below. This is not us doing it (we didn’t tape it), but another youth group. It is a good video that shows what happens to teenagers. We are now learning three more skits for when our youth group goes on a mission trip to West Virginia.

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey!

Wow, sounds like you've been busy. I'm glad you had a good time in South Carolina. I just watched the play. That's a pretty good play. West Virgina, awesome! How long is the missions trip?
Take care,
Lee

Thanks for sharing ~the video is life changing in action. It truly blessed me. I am sure yours did also.I am not a teenager although I know what the pit is like so it reminded me how powerful our will is to live or die. Makes me want to scream all over the Universe and say " Stop God loves and cares about, You are Valuable, Unique, and Loved!" Sending Blessings your way! lovingly, rilda

Thank you, thank you!

I am a mom of three children, of which 2 are 13, and 15. I am going to share this video with them, it was truly awesome! I hope that it speaks to them like it did me. Keep up the good work with your ministries, and my God bless you.

Hi Alli!!
That was a really cool story!!! I finally dound your blog and you;re now on my friends list. I think it's really scarey how that girl asked to be saved and then got run over by a truck!! not about the knowing Jesus. I guess Jesus had her there for a reason. well I'll alk to you later.
