What we've been up to...

Good morning all!!

Things have been really exciting around here. (Which is why it's been quiet over here)
The big news is....My new kitchen is in!!!  Last week the cabinets went in and the counter got here late yesterday afternoon! We had begun to think they weren't coming.
Anyway...here are some pictures of before and after.

And, here's the other side of the kitchen before the demo (as it was happening actually)

Now, here's the first of the new...

Here's the other side where we moved the stove to...

These are the cupboards that my canisters and some of my canned goods fit into perfectly.

And, last but not least here's my new faucet that Mark stayed up really  late putting in for me so that I could start putting things back to normal in here.

Well, this is what we've been up to around here. We're still choosing a new paint color and we want to put in a tile floor later this year. There's so much storage room I'm having trouble figuring out where to put things. I know I'll not have that problem for very long.
Add in my last major dentist visit this week, trying to deal with the humidity we've had and "everydayness" it's been crazy nuts around here. I know, it always seems like it's crazy nuts around here!
Well, Jeff just delivered my homemade oatmeal to me and then I'm going to get caught up on the dishes.
Have a wonderful, blessed day!

Your new kitchen is lovely! You must have so much more space, and it even makes the whole room look bigger.

I love it!
Ok...Dewey works so many hours....when is Mark free to come over here and start MY remodel???? I have about 800 blocks needing a hole dug to put them to use....nothing too difficult, really....just a 20x60 space :o) Then there's the miscellaneous needs around here that could use a skilled hand or two :o)

Jennifer loves the blue in the kitchen now, btw :o)

Pray with St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is discord, vision. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
