Graciousness, what is the value of being gracious for the Home Manager? Quite a lot in terms of character because it combines both qualities of kindness and gentleness. Home Managers are to be gracious in their daily affairs, that is, the need for them to incorporate into their lives those virtues of warmheartedness, considerateness, empathy and sympathy. For the Home Manager, the actions of graciousness are those in which mercy along with generosity is shown to others who may not deserve it like disobedient children or an unamicable neighbor or a distraught spouse. Graciousness is a character trait that comes from a woman who has a true understand of grace in her life. The Home Manager who chooses to act with graciousness is bringing into her home a taste of God's goodness towards others. With an attitude of graciousness, a Home Manage will joyfully and with all dilligence want to serve her family well. She will also desire to keep herself from being or becoming arrogant. Graciousness speaks of respect for God, for the husband,and for the home. Graciousness also speaks of the Home Manager's willingness to be self - disciplined, to not become beligerent or embittered, but to have that which actively demonstrates godly care and concern for others in her household.
