Home Managers are imperfect persons in an imperfect world. We strive to do our best but we must be gentle with ourselves when plans made do not come into fruitition. We need to know how to self forgive when things do not get quite done, or a meal is burned, or time gets away from us. We have 24 hours in which we are given each day to create some of the beauty within the home that we find elsewhere in God. Perfectionism is not part of a Home Manager's role or work, but excellence, harmony, balance, serendipity is. We can work toward the goal of learning how to do things well and in a timely fashion which allows for better time management. We can learn from others and glean from their experiences and apply them to our lives and our roles in the home. We can become better equipped as Home Managers when we choose to learn simple but necessary skills for better home stewardship. We can become more informed by taking the time to read and educate our lives with tools and tips that pertain to home keeping which will not only aid us, but also other family members. It is our privilege to learn and seek with all diligence what makes an excellent Home Manager and we can if we will be patient with ourselves and learn to seek what our needs are for the role we have in this life......being a Home Manager is an always learning role in this life.
