Catching Up

Above is a picture of my rose bushes.  They have grown since this picture, but we have been busy and I am just sharing it now. 

My daughter had a birthday a few weeks ago and sadly two days later we had to put down our beloved friend Charlie.  We are all still sullen with grief.  He was only 5, but there was nothing we could do.

On a brighter note, we have completed our school year and the gardens are doing wonderfully!  I hope to be canning string beans next week.  It looks like we are going to finally have some summer weather this week.  It has been a wet and cool summer. 

Today, should be the Lord's Day, however DH was called into work and I have so much to catch up on, so I am going to use the time well.
