Simple Farm Wife

Keeping busy at home today!

I was up at 5 am, just couldn't sleep! So I started baking!! I made some apple cinnamon muffins for breakfast, I made some granola and granola bars that are posted over at Crystals site, made some bread too!

I tackled one of the guest rooms today and have that all cleaned and put fresh sheets on the bed. Tommorrow I am going to tackle either my sewing room or the other guest room.

The sun is shining, but it is bitterly cold outside today, more so when the wind picks up.  But everyday I am itching more and more to get outside and play in my gardens!  Just getting tired of being cooped up, but I figure I will get alot of my house in order so that when the nice weather comes I don't have much to do in the way of Spring cleaning, I can get outside and enjoy it.

I talked to dh this morning and we have decided to do a larger garden this year so we will be purchasing a roto-tiller, I told him that I want something that isn't so big that I can't use it, since I will be the one mainly taking care of the garden while he is in the fields doing hay.

I think it's time for a nice cup of tea and to read for a bit and then do some crocheting before I decide on dinner, I can't decide whether to make chicken parm or baked chicken tonight.
