Simple Farm Wife

Productive Monday morning!

We woke up this morning to find that the woodstove pooped out on us lastnight so since dh didn't have time to get that going this morning I got it going and it is finally starting to warm up in here!

I had to run into town to do a few errands today and a Dr. appt.   and now that I am back home, I have some bread rising for dinner, a cake in the oven, laundry drying and I am making some scalloped potatoes and ham for dinner tonight.

My pantry was a mess and after reading a few other blogs about pantries, I decided it was time I went in and tackled mine, now I have everything straightened up in there, swept and cleaned the shelves, looks great...and didn't take long to accomplish, after I finished in there I cleaned the laundry room real well.  Tommorrow I will tackle the kitchen floor and appliances and clean out some of the cabinets.   I don't know where all this energy is coming from, but who am I to complain!!!

Sounds like you had a terrific day! Now I'll have to go look at my pantry to see if it needs some sorting. :-)

I have found some inspiration from the other blogs too, and have been working on cleaning, re-organizing and (gasp!) letting go of some of my treasures. The truth is, I had too much stuff!
