Sunday on Winndy Hill Farm

A very very cold day here today, 16 degrees, so we are keeping the woodstove at a high roar today! The wind is blowing and we have hand some snow showers.  Even the cows don't seem to be moving none to fast.

Jimmy is logging today, so Leslie and I went to do our weekly shopping and treated ourselves to breakfast out.   I picked up a book " The Purpose Driven Life"  I am really looking forward to reading it and spending more time with my Bible than I have been.

I have been spending my afternoon crocheting and doing laundry. 

For dinner tonight is ham, mashed potatoes, peas and homemade baking powder biscuits, Dessert will be apple crisp.

I don't care for winter to much, but I do enjoy these cold cold days to cuddle up under a warm quilt and relax.
