Gi is cutting a top tooth, so neither of us slept very much last night - I'm looking forward to an afternoon nap when we get home!

The weather is much nicer then predicted today - it's below freezing, but the sun is shining and we didn't get any of the sleet or hail that was predicted after round one yesterday morning. Tonight we have a family dinner, but I don't think we'll stay late - E and I are both exhausted, and tomororw I'm hoping a. someone will pick up our old bedroom furniture on freecycel (the first person never came through) and b. I need to get down to the goat breeder and switch out our two does - I should call her tonight and see which day, Sat. or Sun. works better for her. My dad is painting Gi's room tomorrow, and I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure it is DONE, I want my craft space back!!!! The man paints alone so all I can really do is encourage and bring food. :)

The rooster and five hens were in the garage this morning - who knows why. I think he was out in the morning yesterday and then when the hail started took cover under the woodshed...but why he took everyone into the garage instead of the barn??? He's much better at getting OUT of the chickne door then back in, being the biggest one, but still. Weird.
