Crock-pot roast.....
Well, this roast will have to serve for two different meals. One will be for vegetable beef soup and the other half will be for beef and noodles.
I will be cooking the roast all day in the crock pot with enough water to make a good amount of broth, garlic, onion, bay leaf and some other seasonings. I will shred it and divide the roast up for both meals.
This week I have done something that I have never done before I planned out a menu along with schedules. This is making it so much easier. I will share it with y'all later.
Blessings,
Sherry

Sherry,
It DOES make things easier and i have only done it about a two year period. The step I loved after the first one was to put a meal away once a week in the freezer, so if something didn't sound good or didn't get thawed, I could pop something else in the oven. I also make french dip sandwiches out of roast, use the shredded leftovers, bread rolls, and then lipton onion soup or onion consumme from Campbells if you don't have time to make onion soup with onion and butter and water....or boulions....my pickiest loved this which we just learned in Dec.
Hope you are well!
hugs

Your french dip sounds great! I may have to try that sometime. Thanks for the wonderful idea!
