beef chuck steak about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds
3 - 4 potatoes sliced 1/2 inch thick ( I would use at least 4-6 in my family)
2 large onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups of milk
dash of salt and pepper
1 teaspoon grated garlic
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese can use co-jack
1/2 cup wheaties
Sauté onions in 2 Tablespoons of olive oil, add meat and 1 cup water. Simmer, covered for 50 minutes. Pour into a baking dish 13x9x2 inches. Place potatoes over meat. Blend soup, sour cream, milk, spices together. Pour over top of meat and potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese and cereal. Bake uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
Can add other herbs to your liking, like parsley, basil etc. Enjoy!
