Our garden
Well, the other day we had to pull all of our vegetables due to we are supposed to get real cold and possible snow. YUCK! I am not ready for snow. It is to early. We still had blooms on some of our plants. If it wasn't going to get so cold we would have left them out still. Some of the plants were still ripening. We have already had to cover plants due to frost. We are putting our veggies on the trailer that my husband made at the beginning of our planting season. Wow, has time ever flown by. It seems that we just got done planting our garden and just started to get our produce. I can't believe that we are already in October. We are only a couple of months away from the end of the year. Well, while our plants are on our trailer ripening I hope. This still allows me to spread out our harvesting season for canning and so forth. It is a cool day so tonight I might make a pot of chile with some of our tomatoes. Yum, that doesn't sound half bad. I have some more canning to do also. UGH! But, I must say this I am so thankful for our garden, God has blessed us with a bountiful garden. We will have plenty of good food to eat though the winter and days to come. I might complain now with all the hard work but it is so worth it not to mention the money we will be saving.
God's word says: Psalm 67:6Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us.
