Split Pea and Ham Supper
Tonight we will be feasting on yellow split pea soup with ham, salad and whole wheat bread.
1 bag yellow split peas 1 medium onion diced 2 celery stocks diced 2 cloves garlic minced 1 ham bone 8 c. water Salt and pepper
Mix all ingredience in a large stock pot and simmer for 4 hours. Remove ham bone and puree everything else in a blender. Pick the meat off the bone and add after pureeing. Discard bone. Serve.
