DS and DD2 are having some fun today doing some copywork. 

Almost finished and a new homeschool bookshelf

Well, we are nearly finished putting all the baseboards in.  I love the look of my home now.   We even extended the baseboards into the kitchen.  Steve also was able to put on the thresholds at the backdoor, to the kitchen and at the front door.

I had to get  a new bookcase for our homeschool books/supplies so I went and got this nice burgundy colored one at the local furniture store.  I thought it would look great since we have burgundy recliners in the livingroom part of the great room.

Still more home improvement

Yesterday we put on the baseboards and hauled the old carpet and pad to the dump.

Here is Steve cutting and routering the baseboards

Here he is nailing the baseboards in place.

Bye-Bye (and good riddens) old pink carpet.

My lovely table for lunch guests

I am having some friends over for lunch today and have the table set.  I wanted to share it with you because I thought it was beautiful.

More added to my livingroom to add beauty

I went out yesterday to get a new monitor for my computer and decided I also needed some green for my livingroom and to hide the monitor which is right behind the palm.

I am so blessed to have the means to share my home with you all.  May you be blessed and inspired to create peace and beauty in your home.
