Chivalry, a thing of the past?
|
In this age, happy marriages and the traditional family almost seems like something of the past but there are some who do not accept this but rather look forward to an oldfashioned and pure marriage.
Do you feel that you were born into the wrong era? Or have you ever wanted to go back in time to when there was chivalry, romance in marriage and integrity? When women were ladies and men were gentlemen. This doesn't have to be just a thing of the past that we read of in history books, it can be our future!
If you have any thoughts on this or would like to discuss things then please feel free to contact me. I would love to hear your thoughts. May God bless you.

Shalom to you, Brother in Christ. Thank you for visiting our blog and leaving such encouraging comments. We appreciate them. I was quite intrigued with your blog. Very interesting and wonderful. I look forward to visiting more.
And, to answer your questions...
We aren't Jewish. We are just studying and learning about Jewish culture, but no, we don't. We do do things Biblically and follow the Bible as much as we can.
And, I am Lois, and I am 16. Chloe and Rachel haven’t written yet, but we all welcome you!
Shalom,
Lois the SIMPLE

I am Lois (above) from the VM. I thought you might want to check out our regular blogs (no one else knows it's us though...shhh...)...
I am signed into my homesteadblogger, but I also have a homeschoolblogger/Jocelyndixon.
I welcome you to stop by... and I agree with this post completely. I love old fashion-ness... I was born in the wrong era, but God has bigger and better plans for me in this era! I have been writing a novel for the past 2yrs set in the 1800s (with gentleman and ladies) i hope to have it published soon... it's one of my favourite eras.
Love your blog, will be adding you.
In Christ,
Jocelyn

Didn't know what you were getting into, did you? lol ;o)
I agree with you on following the Bible without the Jewish traditions. Exactly I was trying to say. Some Jewish traditions should still be kept, I think. I know Jesus changed some of them and, of course, relieved us of having to offer sacrifices.
We do not have a recent family photo. We did have one taken in April but the quality is terrible. I am not allowed to email young men/guys anyway.
My novel? I am done writing it. Have been for almost a year, but I am waiting on my editor to get it done - mom - and she is terribly busy. Hopefully this year though. I already have many who want to read it, and a published author/magazine owner said she'd put it in their catalog once it's published. Right now I am working on an e-book about "How To Build A Hope Chest", and I am also having a few articles published in The Girlhood Home Companion (girlhoodhomecompanion.com) this month. They've also asked me to be a full-time writer... so God is definitely leading me down a writing career, which I am thankful for as it's something I've been wanting to do for sometime. I just never thought it'd be so soon!
And, I did pass your regards onto my parents. I've given you my mom's blog link, if you'd like to stop in and say hello. ; )
Have a Blessed Day in Him.
Sincerely,
Miss Jocelyn
