I've had some ideas in my head all summer for felting scarves. It is past time for my creative juices to start flowing in anticipation of our annual Christmas in the Country Show. Last Sunday after dinner, I got out some large terry cloth table cloths, bubble wrap, wool and hot soapy water. The resulting combination was SOOOOOO fun! I haven't taken any pics yet, but when I do, I will post them here. This is wet felting. I've not done much of it, but I am having a great time. I've made 5 scarves and/or table runners and I am working on a pointsettia candle mat. One thing's for sure, it's hard on my shoulders, wrists and arms! Lots of twisting and turning. I've gotta slow down, but when the mind gets going...............look out. The problem is that while I am working on one, I get an idea for another and I get impatient.
