A girlfriend told me about this yummy tea, we make this when someone starts to get the sniffles since its my turn to have a runny nose and cough I get to enjoy this tea. It is very soothing to the throat and seems to clear my nose right up!

Ingredients
Ginger root - peel the skin off and chop up the root
A fresh squeezed lemon to taste
Honey stirred in real well

Directions:

Steep the ginger root in boiling water, I've done this by soaking the chopped ginger root in my French Press for 30 minutes. OR in a small saucepan over low heat for 20-30 minutes. Add a squeeze of lemon into your cup to taste, I use 1/4 to 1/2 lemon and a couple of spoonfuls of honey. You can add the lemon and honey to your taste-or until it tastes like a lemon drop.
