Not feeling well..I haven't updated for a while, I've been feeling under the weather. I feel like I have the flu, although I don't, and all I want to do is lie down, but women aren't known for allowing themselves to do that, are they? We keep putting one foot in front of the other, bad as we feel. I filled in some bare spots in my peas today. They're doing great, I just didn't plant them thick enough. And since I got the Farmer's Almanac and read on the signs for planting, my seed potatoes are still sitting. It says the next good planting time for root crops is April 13. I don't know if I can hold off that long or not, seems awfully far away! But my neighbor plants by the signs, her mother and grandmother did, so I figure I'll give it a try. Today was a good day for above ground crops, is the reason I put more peas out. I'm still fascinated by Carla Emery's book. I wonder how long it took her to write it?? I'll try to get around to some people tonight, if I don't give up and go on to bed!
