Wintergreen & Shoes

What do these two things have to do with each other, you say? We have a large portable shoe closet at our side door that houses not only my shoes but hubby's smelly boots (of course, my shoes don't stink!). I've tried everything to keep it from smelling when you open the door; carpet powder, scrap candle pieces, Lysol, potpourri, you name it! Nothing worked.

Hubby buys wintergreen Lifesavers and they smell so loud that I never could keep the bag near my food. Then it occured to me to put the opened bag inside the shoe closet, on the top shelf that doesn't have shoes on it. Sure enough, now when I open the closet all I smell are the Lifesavers!

I also loved your notebook pages. I too am a "she" and a list person. I love your creations. I'll have to see if I can find a program like the one you use. Looks great!!

I will give that a try. My dh works with horses all day. So you can imagine. Thanks for sharing. Also thanks for flylady. I really like what I saw. Thanks again.
