A Perfect Match!

Hubby and I went back to Walmart today and returned his glasses for a refund. He has really tried to get used to them for the past month, but there must be a defect in the lenses. He could see while looking straight ahead, but when he looked to the side it was wavy. I expected them to give us a hard time over returning them, but they were very nice about it.

While I was there I bought some tablecloth material for my dining room table. I can't believe how close it is to my wallpaper and border. It only cost a little over $6.00 at a measurement of 54 x 90, and has flannel backing. At those prices I can buy different ones and rotate them. Maybe have one for holidays and another for family dinners, such as lace. Here's a picture of it:

The table belonged to my mother. I inherited it when she passed away a few years ago. The wood of the top was beautiful, but I want to protect it from scratches.

It's off to bed. We have another doctor's appointment tomorrow. I'll try to do some reading of your blogs tomorrow night. May God bless! Sarah

I usually find material on sale (after the season is over, mostly) and get my tablecloths, then. Cut them (as you did) with a good margin for hemming ... you can have tablecloths for every season!!

Thank You

For the welcome, and the compliment. It really is a very cute little cabin, I love it ;-) She just needs some love, lol.
I love that whole room! Isn't it amazing how you can find the matches to things like that out of the blue. We have floral insulated curtains hanging in the sliding windows, aka our front door. Recently I found dollar store curtains that pretty much match...I was shocked! So, now when the kitchen window isn't doubling as the green house, I have matching curtains :-)

Sara, thanks for visiting my blog. I also recently bought a table cloth at Wal-mart. Not material to make one myself, but one on sale that caught my eye. I had received a gift card at Christmas. What I wanted to say was dosen't the right table cloth just make the room! My husband keeps walking by the dinning area and saying "That looks really nice." Nice to meet you too.
