Motherhood and Sacrifice

Oh, how I wish I had more time! But for now in the few minutes I do have, I just want to share this little piece on mothering and sacrifice. It's so true! I found this in the March/April 2006 MomSense magazine from MOPS (Mothers Of PreSchoolers).

"Motherhood is a life of sacrifice given in the service of others. There is incredible value in laying yourself aside for a season as you nurture your child's life. Someone once told me when my kids were little that these are the longest days and the shortest years."

I read MomSense too and agree- lots of sacrifice yes, but look what we would be missing?
