It is too early for me to be thinking Christmas but I thought I'd join in on the meme going around.  Gives me something else to think about.  Feel free to do it too!

1.) Wrapping paper or gift bags?  paper usually.  Sometimes I get creative, use newspaper, splotch paint on it and use thrift store yarn for bows.  But mostly I am lazy in that department.

2.) Real tree or artificial? Real

3.) When do you put up the tree? When husband decides to. 

4.)When do you take the tree down? After New Years

5.) Do you like eggnog? No

6.) Favorite gift recieved as a child?  A plastic Appaloosa horse model I named Quanita's Brave.  I still have him and love him.

7.)Hardest person to buy for?  We don't really buy for each other as a rule.  If I find something then I'll get it but it is without any idea of getting anything in return etc. 

8.)Easiest person to buy for? KIds.  Gas cards

9.)Do you have a nativity scene? Just got my first one.  It is kinda' corny, has Elmer the horse and his "wife" and sheep and a kitten as Jesus but I smiled when I saw it, it was on clearance and so I got it.  I can't wait to set it up but refuse to do so before Thanksgiving!

10.) Mail or e-mail christmas cards? Mail.  Job security and all that jazz.

11.) Worst christmas gift you ever recieved? panties in front of my uncles.  They didn't notice but I was mortified.

12.) Favorite christmas movie? I don't watch movies.  Plus they don't put movies on television anymore...well except for my husbands favorite (NOT) It's a Wonderful Life.  Now that I think about it I used to like the old scrooge movie as a kid.

13.) When do you start shopping for christmas? I like to make stuff rather than shop.  Otherwise could be year round because if I find something, say, for my sister I'll get it.  Gas cards?  I let hubby get those.

14.) Have you ever recycled a christmas present? Yes and I've also given some to the thrift store. 

15.) Favorite thing to eat at christmas? pumpkin pie

16.) Lights on the tree? when we have a tree, it has lights

19.) Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Yep

21.) Open presents christmas eve or morning? morning.  When we went to inlaws it was night before but we don't go there anymore now that the kids are gone.

22.) Most annoying thing about this time of year? crowds and traffic

23.) Favorite thing about this time of year? baking and eating and anticipating

24.) Favorite ornament theme or color? our theme is mish-mash of homemade, hand me downs and old.  There are a lot of horses on it.

25.) Favorite food for christmas dinner? whatever I happen to make.  I'd do ok with soup

26.) Favorite christmas tradition? making cookies

27.) What do you want for christmas this year. a housekeeper
