Tuesday on the Homestead

Sunday and Monday I got my house back in order and today I caught up with all my cyber things..  newsletter, websites, etc..

Emily, Leanne and Sierra did some Christmas decorating.  The house is looking much more festive.  We still need to get our tree. 

Leanne was babysitting today here at our house.  So about noon her two charges arrived and they have been here playing with Sierra and Isaac all afternoon and everyone seems to be having a good time.

Hannah is watching Miss Margaret today.  This whole week Hannah and Emily will be taking turns doing this.  Tomorrow is Emily’s day.

Tobin has been working a bit of overtime right now… so will be home later than usual.

Leanne and Emily started their gingerbread house for this year..  Emily posted pictures of last years gb house and their progress so far on this years house on their blog.  I think we may try and also do some little elf houses with the younger kids and a few friends..  sounds like a fun way to spend an afternoon together.

Leanne made peanut butter oatmeal cookies..  yum..  this is the cookie season!!  However I am sure these will all be eaten before they ever make it to the freezer!!

That does it for Tuesday on my Homestead…

I thought of you when I got this link in my email. It shows flat gb houses shaped out of cookie dough. I remembered you mentioned making smaller ones and thought about this as something that everyone can do and personalize as they choose.
