Thursday Evening

Well, my family's all on their way back home now and we'll be having Thanksgiving with Charlie's family tomorrow night.  I'm exhausted, but in a good way.  It's too bad Charlie has to get the store open so early tomorrow because we could all use a "sleep-in."

Come to find out, we only needed one turkey, but that's okay because I can boil the rest off the bones and also make broth.  Our refrigerator is full and that in itself is a blessing.  There are many families who don't get to have a large Thanksgiving like we've enjoyed.  In fact, just two years ago, our dinner was provided for us through charity.

This holiday season, let's remember those who aren't as well off as we are.  Our family is still right along the poverty level, but we're better off than many.

If the Lord brings us to mind, would you please say a prayer for us.  We have another financial  issue that has just popped up that we thought was behind us.  I know the timing is an attack, aimed at throwing us off our Bible studies and trusting in the Lord.
