We've been doing lots of work, mostly projects to hopefully sell, actually, that's mostly Charlie and the boys.  Bethany's in Wichita babysitting and I've been working on the house.  I finally got a chance to work on the love seat today and think I may have actually figured out how I want it to look.

We're really struggling right now financially and would appreciate any prayers you might send up for us.  It isn't that we haven't made out a budget or anything, we have and have been trying to stick with it.  Just seems that something keeps us from catching up.  We only have one debt which is the house and they won't work with us which is very frustrating.  I don't know if we should see about selling this place or what.  I've been looking for rentals and they are just as expensive as what we're paying here between the housepayment and lot rent.  Plus we have one dog and one cat and finding someone to rent to us is very difficult.  We're trusting God and have been praying even harder lately for guidance.  We have two businesses who owe us money and we've been watching the mail for the checks for weeks now, but as of yet, nothing.  I'm getting to where I really dislike this place with all the trouble we've been having.  But we don't have money saved up to do anything else.

Charlie's car needs new battery cables plus title transfer and new tags.  He's been driving my car, but we also need to renew our insurance because it runs out around the 15th of August.

On a brighter side, my Yankees are doing so much better!  Right now I'm listening to the game and its lifting my spirits some. 

Sorry I haven't been writing on here much lately.  We've been keeping the computer off to conserve electricity.  Plus I've been writing in my journal a lot more and I find that when I go to write on here I can't think of anything to write.

The boys have 5 more days at the library.  They are ready to be finished but I know they will miss it.  We will be starting our school year once they are done (August 13th is our first day, I think) and I'm going to try to only write once every few days once that happens.  We're completely weaning them off the computer and possibly the television for the next 6 months.  We've had wonderful results with the no video games for the year, except for the fact that I've noticed lately they have tried filling that hole with the computer.  They did so well for the first 6 months, but have gotten ansy lately.  Maybe its because we aren't doing much school right now.  We normally school year round and I think we should go back to that.

Time to give the dog a flea bath - oh how exciting!
